Testnet

The AMP Finance testnet, at preview.ampfinance.io, runs on Midnight Preview, one of Midnight's test networks. It exists for rapid testing and development, and nothing more.

Nothing on the testnet has value

Every token, offer, loan and balance on the testnet is a test asset. None of it is worth anything, and none of it will carry over to a main network launch.

What to expect​

  • Anything can change at any time. Markets, their settings, the contracts behind them and the positions in them can be updated, erased or replaced without notice.
  • Disruption is normal. The testnet may be unavailable at times, and actions may fail with errors nobody expected. Anything that looks wrong can be reported to team@ampfinance.io.
  • Positions are not kept. An offer or a loan on the testnet can disappear when the deployment is replaced, along with anything waiting to be collected or claimed.
  • Dollar values are placeholders. Where the interface shows a price or a dollar figure, such as a collateral suggestion or a total on Positions, it is a made-up value for testing and means nothing.
